origin story:
I took on the roll as a makeup artist pretty early on, being the go-to girl in high school for help with makeup on formal and prom nights. After that experience, it was an automatic decision for me to step into cosmetology school right out of high school. I graduated from Elite Academy, the progressive school of cosmetology in Stockton, Ca. I tried being a hair stylist for a few years, but gave my full-time hours to working in cosmetics at Macy’s in Modesto, Ca.
I’ve always felt at home working with women, for women. About 5 years into being a licensed cosmetologist. I landed my dream job at Benefit cosmetics as a full time brow artist. Certifying at BBU (Benefit Brow Bar University) courses. Earning certificates in Brows 101 and Brow and lash labs. After 5 (10 years in cosmetics total) I ventured out of retail and started working in salons. Today, I have now been self-employed for over 5 years.
I am now certified in body waxing, brow lamination, teeth whitening, and multiple courses in advanced makeup. I’ve also certified in specialty or master brow specialist.

With 16 years in the industry I have dedicated my career to encouraging women to self-love and care.
My latest certification as a 200 hour yoga instructor has inspired me to go one step further in self care. Promoting over-all wellness, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. Introducing clients to essential oils, yoga, meditation and getting active, as well as, clean cosmetics and skin care.
While beauty for some, can mean the outer aesthetic, my purpose and drive for BLB Studio is make sure women have the services at their fingertips to invest in their own self-care. I am someone who truly believes that when we show up for ourselves, we can best show up for the people that we love.
